Extended Protection Plan for Infratech Heaters– Terms & Conditions
At Signature Radiant, we understand that your heating investment is made to last. That’s why we offer our Extended Protection Plan on select products, giving you peace of mind for years to come.
This plan is offered in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty, and extends your protection against manufacturing defects related to electrical or mechanical failure during normal use.
What’s Covered
Mechanical or electrical failure occurring under normal residential or commercial use
Replacement parts for defective components
Replacement of full unit (at Signature Radiants’s discretion) if parts are not available or repair is not possible
What’s Not Covered
Cosmetic damage (fading, discoloration, scratches, etc.)
Weather-related damage or natural disasters
Damage due to improper installation (including installation by a non-certified electrical contractor)
Damage due to misuse, alteration, or neglect
Labor or installation/removal costs
Transportation or freight costs
Damage from voltages or power supplies outside of manufacturer specification
Damage caused by accessories not recommended by Signature Radiant or the product manufacturer
Damage to products installed in coastal environments unless otherwise specified
Closeout or discontinued products
Who Can Use the Plan
This plan applies only to the original purchaser of the product and to the original installation location. It is not transferable.
To activate and maintain the validity of the Extended Protection Plan, customers must provide proof of installation by a certified electrical contractor. This ensures that the product has been installed safely and in accordance with local electrical codes.
Failure to provide this proof may void coverage under the Extended Protection Plan.
Coverage Duration & Pricing
5-Year Extended Protection: $120 CAD
6-Year Extended Protection: $160 CAD
Coverage begins immediately upon purchase and runs concurrently with the manufacturer’s warranty. If the manufacturer warranty ends before the protection term, our coverage continues for the remaining time.
Example: If Infratech includes a 4-year manufacturer warranty and you purchase a 5-year plan, we cover the fifth year under this Protection Plan.
What Happens If My Product is Discontinued?
If your item has been discontinued and is still under coverage, we’ll work with you to provide a comparable replacement product or an equivalent credit.

To make a claim under this plan, please contact our customer service team with:
Your original order number
Proof of installation from a certified electrical contractor
A brief explanation of the issue and photos
We’ll assess your case and process your claim quickly.

This Extended Protection Plan is not an insurance product. It is a limited, in-house service policy offered and administered exclusively by Signature Radiant. This plan is optional and does not replace or reduce any statutory warranties provided under provincial law, including the legal warranty of quality in Québec.

I recently upgraded my terrace with three CD-6024 heaters from Signature Radiant, complete with a control panel, and I must say, the experience has been nothing short of awesome.
The CD-6024 heaters have exceeded my expectations in every way. The installation process was seamless. I was impressed by the sleek design of the heaters, which blended beautifully with my terrace décor. No more reason to not enjoy our terrace.
